El 16 de noviembre, la banda sueca de death metal melódico Amon Amarth lanzará un nuevo documental y álbum en vivo titulado The Pursuit Of Vikings: 25 Years In The Eye Of The Storm. El lanzamiento incluye un documental retrospectivo con material en vivo, escenas entre bastidores, además de extensas entrevistas a la banda. La película cuenta la historia del quinteto, a través de sus propios ojos y también de los fanáticos que los han apoyado en el camino. El documental estará acompañado de un doble lanzamiento en vivo, que contiene dos set del festival alemán Summer Breeze 2017, capturándolos en su mejor momento.
Habiendo tocado en numerosos festivales alemanes y gustando del ambiente familiar que siempre han experimentado ahí, Amon Amarth, tomó la oportunidad de aparecer dos veces el mismo año. En esa ocasión, primero tocaron un set secreto a pequeña escala que se enfocó primariamente en material antiguo. Al día siguiente se presentaron en el escenario principal con producción completa, incluyendo su serpiente marina gigante y mucho fuego, permitiéndoles mostrar sus canciones en todo su potencial. Elegir los dos setlists, dado el extenso catálogo de la banda, no fue una tarea fácil.
